Application submitted — awaiting decision

Our application to register as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation has been submitted to the Charity Commission for England & Wales. With our independent trustee in place and our policies adopted, we're now awaiting their decision. We'll share our charity number here as soon as it's issued.
A stronger application, second time around
June 2026
An earlier application was returned as incomplete — not refused — on five fixable grounds, including a sensitive word in our original name and the need for a stronger safeguarding policy. All five were addressed: we shortened the name, adopted safeguarding and grant-making policies, strengthened the constitution, and appointed an independent trustee.
Charity number & bank account

Once registered, we'll open a charity bank account and donations. This page will track each step.
